HOOD" arrived from the South apparently to take
the Pendolino to Holyhead. 10/11/2007

The object of today's
visit arrived in platform 11, it was the Bristol-Llandudno charter
hauled by 47828 "Joe Strummer" leading
47813 "John Peel" both in Cotswold Rail
livery. The train left a few minutes early. 10/11/2007
47828 is no stranger
to the coast and was a regular when in its previous guise as
"Severn Valley Railway".
I have no record of 47813
having worked the coast but it certainly has been to Crewe before
and is seen here outside the Diesel Depot in FGW livery and carrying
the name "S.S.Great Britain".
