February 23rd, 2014 and it's steam gala day at the Churnet Valley Railway and 1827 was giving driver rides in the station yard.

 Hired in for the event was Bullied light pacific, West Country Class 34007 "Wadebridge" was entering Cheddleton station with a return service from Ipstones.

 A chance to see it from the ground before running to catch it en route to Froghall......

 Leaving Cheddleton.

 Passing the two class 37/4's, that have now received a coat of paint and look much better for it, together with class 25 "Tamworth Castle" awaiting restoration.

 Arrival at Froghall.

 Starting the run-round.

 34007 passing the site of the former Bolton's copper works for Ipstones.

 I just love these locomotives!

 "Wadebridge" having cleared the section, Steam Rail Motor 93, on hire from the Didcot Railway Centre, approached Froghall.
