67023 "Stella" ran onto the UDL, to run round its stock and then leave heading South.
40013/D213 "Andania" arrived from Chester.

1733/47853 was also ticking over, in the Heritage Centre yard.
1733 in former guise as 47853 "Rail Express" passing through Conwy with
the 09.19 Holyhead-London Euston service on 29th September 2002.
This was the last day of Virgin loco-hauled operations on the North Wales Coast, notwithstanding the Pendolino haulage of course.

323234, on a Crewe-Liverpool service, waits in platform 3 at Sandbach to allow a Manchester-bound Pendolino to pass.
Shortly after the 323 left, 70011 hurried through with a Southampton-Trafford Park freight.
Crewe and 57309 "Pride of Crewe" waits to leave.
Twin headlights down the main line revealed a new TransPennine EXPRESS unit.
I missed the DVT(?) ident but was interested to note the bogies with inside frames.
