 CREWE 21st JUNE 2018

66708 "Jayne" and 66727 "Maritime One" entered bay platform 8.

34046 "Braunton" was shunting around the diesel depot yard.

90046 leading 90049, left with a northbound freight after a crew change.

Having expected a Jubilee, 8F 48151 entered platform 12 with the southbound returning Lakes Express
running Carnforth-London Victoria.

 MANNERS?

68031 ran South through the station with a TP training run. 68025 "Superb" was on the rear.

08631 shunted a coach in the diesel depot yard.

The 8F was removed to be replaced by 47746 "Chris Fudge 29.7.70-22.6.10" and 47580 "County of Essex"
to take the train forward to London.

 Supershunter.

The 8F had turned on the triangle and returned to platform 12 to take on water. Apparently it was unable to proceed South because of gauging issues and no alternative engine having been available.

37409 "Lord Hinton" waited outside the station with "Caroline" in tow but unfortunately disappeared through platform 1.

Eventually, and on time, the 8F left for Carnforth.

Once again, due to strike action this time, I had to get to Crewe via Hartford.
