FLYING SCOTSMAN AT CREWE

Sandbach and 175008 hurries through on its way to Manchester.
66523 followed with a Basford Hall-Trafford Park service after waiting for the 175 to pass.
"Scotsman" was scheduled to leave the Heritage Centre through Crewe's platform 6
but true to form, as I waited on 5, it went through on the UDL.
On the off chance that it would be held, I followed it down and fortunately I was lucky and it was indeed held.
After about five minutes it left for Orton Mere.
It made a fine display in the Autumn sunshine.
My rattling chariot home.
