 CREWE, SEPTEMBER 7th 2019

Crewe station as Pendolino 390129 "City of Stoke-on-Trent" entered platform 11.

This one caught me out so a somewhat late shot of 153383 carrying the EMR REGIONAL branding and named "Ecclesbourne Valley Railway 150 Years" running on the Crewe-Derby shuttle.

I came to see The Duchess running from Norwich to Chester hauling The Cheshireman but we had 47802 instead. It turned out that the Coronation Pacific never left Norwich having failed a fitness check.

331001 appeared and stopped on the down main before returning North, presumably on test.

Having already booked through to Chester I decided to follow the charter and was pleased to ride in 221106,
still running with The Prisoner livery.

 150235 was parked up.

The 47 pulled away to turn just as I arrived at the platform end.

The new livery is starting to spread.

319382 was waiting to leave with a Crewe-Liverpool service.
