 CREWE JULY 16th 2021

Crewe station and my transport in.

An immaculate Jubilee in the sunshine as 45596 "Bahamas" rolled in to platform 12 en route for Southall.

Taking on water while the crew take a tea break.

 The distinctive double chimney.

 An expensive tea tray!

In the former diesel depot yard, the "Staycation Express" HST set was moving around.

A long shot from platform one as 08483 shunted a single coach.

Same shot as a Midland Pullman power car (locomotive?) also moved around.

Finally the Jubilee drifted forward, really beyond the effective range of my lens.

 Away on its journey South.

The TFW Premier Train, with 67017 in charge, was parked in bay 9 so a rapid visit before I had to leave.

My chariot home, beating its way through the ever increasing undergrowth and into platform 1.
Crewe station is beginning to take on the appearance of a garden centre.
