 It's not often you see 08 shunters running through Crewe station but, today, we were privileged to see 08561 dragging a "Northern Belle" coach down to the LNWR carriage sidings. It later returned with a different one. 30/5/2002

 37704 appeared on the Sandbach acid run. 30/5/2002

 47787 "Windsor Castle" storms out of Crewe with a Northern Belle working. 25/5/2002

 37408 "Loch Rannoch" leads 37426 out of Crewe with the 08.33 Manchester-Cardiff rugex special. 25/5/2002

 47303 apparently dumped and looking somewhat bushed at Crewe International Electric Maintenance Depot. 23/5/2002

backing onto the 9.19 Holyhead-London at Crewe.

 Minutes before, 47817 "The Institution of Mechanical Engineers" had brought the train in from North Wales. 21/5/2002

 It was a busy day at Crewe with the Stoke line closed, all the Manchester trains were running through the station and there were plenty of them too. 86231 "Starlight Express" peels off towards Mancunium while a DVT waits to pass through the up centre road. 21/5/2002

 90005 "The Financial Times" heads North via the down centre road to gain access to the Manchester line with a Euston-Manchester service. 21/5/2002

 A Serco test train had waited for quite some time North of the station and eventually ran through with 47732 "Restormel" leading and 47734 "Crewe Diesel Depot" attached to the rear. 21/5/2002

 90046 appears to be still on hire to Virgin as it pauses in platform 5. 21/5/2002

 47787 "Windsor Castle" posing in the sunshine on the diesel depot at Crewe. 21/5/2002

 Plenty of Class 221 Super Voyager tilting trains about today (they can't tilt yet!) and 221 105 was stopped in platform 5 with 221 110 leading en route for Bournemouth. This shot shows the bogie detail. 21/5/2002
