 The colours of scrap! 7/11/2003

 47733 "Eastern Star" arrived with the 07.35 Holyhead-Crewe and ran round its stock.......

.....before departing with the 10.30 reverse working. 7/11/2003 

 87015 "Howard of Effingham" leaving with a Liverpool service. 7/11/2003

43092 led 43065 on the morning London-Holyhead. 7/11/2003 

 87011 "City of Wolverhampton". 7/11/2003

 47739 "Resourceful" sneaked round through platform 1 with the ecs working off the the 06.38 Bangor-Manchester. 7/11/2003

87029 "Earl Marischal" heading North. 7/11/2003

 87016 "Willesden Intercity Depot" heads off into the sun en route for London. 7/11/2003

 66058 brought a long ballast train into platform 6 to run round and head off South. The reversal took the best part of an hour to complete thus blocking platform 6. I assume 6 was the only area long enough to take the train. 7/11/2003

 66050 ran through platform 1 with a freight train. 7/11/2003

 47810 "Porterbrook" was on thunderbird duty. 7/11/2003

 47798 "Prince William" arrived with Northern Belle stock and on the other end.....

.....fellow royal, 47799 "Prince Henry".........no, they are not painted black! 7/11/2003
