A Sunday visit to Crewe to collect my magazines so a quick look around. It was very quiet with the route North blocked off for maintenance works. In bay platform 7 were 158828/158830/150275 forming the 10.50 to Bridgend. 7/10/2007

Behind them in bay platform 8 were Hippos 175111 and 175009 which left later as an ecs working. 7/10/2007

57307 "Lady Penelope" arrived in platform 1 with 390016 "Virgin Champion" and I realised that drags were on as a result of the WCML being closed. 7/10/2007

Parked in bay platform was 153312 with Cardiff on its destination indicator. 7/10/2007

A class 66 entered bay 7. 7/10/2007

It was 66048. 7/10/2007

57307 had parked up by platform 2. 7/10/2007

While photographing 57307 another drag arrived in platform 5. it was 57312 "THE HOOD" with 390026 "Virgin Enterprise" in tow and destined for London Euston. 7/10/2007

Uncoupling. 7/10/2007

158773 in Central Trains maroon livery was parked up. 7/10/2007

I had to visit the LNWR depot at Crewe so I thought I would shoot the class 67 route learner while I was there. While waiting it was "Hippos in the Mist" time. This was 175106 heading West. 5/10/2007

Soon followed by 175105. 5/10/2007

Hearing the sound of a locomotive I got ready but was disappointed to see it was a class 57 positioning itself for the morning Pendolino drag to Holyhead. I believe it was 57306 "JEFF TRACY". I never saw the 67, it was either early or very late, you win some............ 5/10/2007

The usual string of stored stock was present in the Autumnal sunshine with "Union of South Africa" in the background receiving a service. 5/10/2007

Stranger in the camp was D6525. 5/10/2007
