90038 arrived off the main line and then transferred to the IEMD.
221101 in new livery caught me by surprise as it left platform 6 heading South.
66709 paused on the down fast.
The ecs working from Southall arrived effectively on time and entered platform 12 with
class 37, 37516 "Loch Laidon" leading Stanier class 5, 44871.
The 37, bound for Carnforth with the stock, drew forward to release 44871.
44871 was suitably adorned for the season.
Steamin'
37516 was still waiting.
Ever seen a class 57 diesel stoking up?
Eventually the 37 ran forward onto the Chester line.....
.....to allow the class 5 out for its run to Bury.
Shortly after the 37 left for its run North.
