175008 left platform
6 with a Manchester-Chester train and had to run south, reverse
and run between platforms 11 and 12 for Chester. Electric arc
welding on the track can be seen just beyond the train (inset)-a
dangerous place to work. 17/11/2000
Track problems
at the north end of platform 6 prevent normal operations so 175008
ran centre road north with 37401 "Mary Queen of Scots"
held in platform 12 on the 8.47 Holyhead - Birmingham. This meant
37401 leaving 20 minutes down having been held by the 175. 17/11/2000
90014 entered from
the south on a Virgin train. 17/11/2000

looked like the Middlewich-Warrington but was a bit early. 17/11/2000
A smart looking
