Rural Cheshire at its best. This was the scene at Aston Juxta Mondrum this morning and the site of Worleston station on the Crewe-Chester line. It's very sad that scenes similar to this one in Cheshire East are being destroyed by government policy on uncontrolled house building and in particular the antics of Eric Pickles. Enjoy your knighthood and retirement Eric - you have destroyed ours. 23/05/2015

Setting the Cheshire plain alight (metaphorically of course) is Castle Class number 5043 "Earl of Mount Edgcumbe" hauling The Seaside Flyer, running from Tyseley to Llandudno. 23/05/2015
